• New menu headings
  Based on feedback received from users, we have slightly modified the main menu headings. A number of items that were under the "Training" menu have now been moved into "Events" and "Places", leaving only the pure training related functions under "Training".   The Contacts menu has been renamed to "People".    Hopefully these new headings are more intuitive for new users.  If you have feedback on the headings - now is a good time to send it in.
  

• Location Map
  To follow up on the new work address fields for Contacts, and the addition of latitude & longitude values for home and work addresses, we now have a new map page in ITM.  This map allows you to visualise the home and work locations of your team members, as well as your own buildings and facilities.
  
  For an item to show on the map, it needs to have a latitude and longitude stored. The easiest way to do this is to edit the item, and check that it has a valid street address, then save it. This will anonymously send the address to Google, who will interpret it and come up with a lat/long. Sometimes Google won't get it exactly right, so you've got the option to manually adjust the values yourself.
  
  At the moment the map shows all contacts.  We plan to add in the ability to filter by Status at some point in the next month or so.  We also want to have it show all the contacts within a certain distance of a selected locaiton. So for response teams, this will help you figure out who the closest responders are to your emergency.
  

• New Event Contact List
  You can now generate a printable Event Contact List - giving you a listing for everyone attending a particular event (including the coordinator, instructors and assistants), with their basic contact details. You can find this new report under the 'Sign In Sheets' link in Attendance mode.  This list can make it very easy for a coordinator to get hold of someone that is late for an event - they will have everyone's details to hand.

• Custom Privacy Notice
  You now have the ability to create your own customised privacy notice, which will be displayed to users when they edit their own profile. The notice can be created and activated from the Organisation Preferences page. In some countries, privacy regulations require you to tell people why you are collecting information about them, and what you will do with that info. If you like, you can keep this message short by including a hyperlink to your official corporate privacy statement.
• New Contact Fields
  The Contact Edit screen has changed significantly, with many new fields now available for use. For example, you can now store work address information (in addition to the existing home address) and emergency contact details. There is also a new 'Skills Profile' field, where people can add in free-form info about their professional skills and experience - useful if you need to search for a particular skillset that's not covered by your training records.

• The Learning Objectives List now handles large data sets, including the entire NZQA list of unit standards (~60,000 learning objectives).
  
• Copy functionality now works as expected - the user is taken to the new object, rather than back to the existing object.
• Latitude and Longitude fields have been added for both Home and Work addresses. This will allow increased mapping abilities in the future.
• Search results now have much of the formatting of rich text fields removed for better display in the search results list
• Users who have JavaScript disabled will now get a banner at the top of the page warning that Javascript should be enabled for ITM to work properly.
• Removed an unneccesary database call that was occuring on every page load
• Made a number of logging and error handling improvements that will help ITM run under IIS7 in the future.
  

• Training Paths
  The core foundation has been laid for some great new features revolving around 'Training Paths'. A Training Path can be considered the same as a Programme of Study, where students are enrolled (either formally or informally) and can track progress towards their goal. Training Managers can do the same, checking the progress of everyone enrolled in each Path.
• Training Path Matrix
  The new Training Path Matrix screen allows you to graphically see and configure which Courses & Qualifications are part of each Training Path. Just add the Paths and Training Levels you are interested in. You can then designate both Required and Optional components by clicking in the grid.
  

• Google Earth integration.
  Location entries in the Secure section now have a download link for a KML file, which can be opened by Google Earth and many other 'geobrowsers' to take you directly to a satellite view of that location.   Google Earth can be a great way to plan your training and get directions.  This feature will be extended to the public side of ITM in the coming weeks.
  
• Designations
  ITM now has the ability to track who you designate as Instructors, Assessors, Assistants and Subject Matter Experts for all parts of your syllabus. This article explains these new features in detail.
  
• Dealing with Duplicate Contacts
  To help improve your data quality, we have added new tools to help you deal with duplicate contacts. Read this article to learn how to make use of this powerful tool, and this article to find out why having duplicates is a bad idea.
  

• Improved Monitoring information for System Administrators, will result in fewer people being impacted when new versions of ITM go live.
  
• Increased tracking of attempted internet attacks.so that System Administrators can better identify patterns and threats
• Added filters to reduce unnecessary error alerts going to System Administrators due to a bug in IE8's look ahead downloader

• Attendance Tracking
  Added the Detailed Attendance List screen, to help training managers see all attendance data in one place, and filter based on both expected and actual attendance.
  
• Error Handling
  Improved error handling and logging to reduce the number of uneccessary error alerts going to System Administrators, and provide better error messages to users in some situations.
  

• Improved the User Interface on various Event and Calendar related pages, giving prominent icons to keys features.
